About WeTutor-U
WeTutor-U was founded back in 2003 around a kitchen table by a classroom teacher who became a stay-at-home mom to be with her young children. She was helping her son learn the basics of counting, addition, and subtraction, using his favorite snack food at the time…Cheerios!
The company evolved over time – working with students that have gone on to attend some of the most prestigious universities and colleges, such as Johns Hopkins, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Columbia, UC Davis, Georgetown, UCI, UCLA, and USC, to name a few.
Of course, everyone’s success is different. That kid who was counting Cheerios at the kitchen table went on to earn both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering from California State University, Fullerton. He’s currently a Data Software Engineer with Apple, demonstrating how consistent support can translate into long-term success.

The 4-hour Focus package provides focused, one-on-one support across four consecutive one-hour sessions to get you going. Your tutor will break down challenging material, clarify key concepts, and help your student move forward with confidence.
The 12 + 1 Mastery package provides added flexibility with an extended scheduling window. Over a 14-week period, students can focus on their most challenging subject while building confidence, consistency, and momentum.
Bonus: Includes one bonus session for a total of 13 sessions.
Our premier Scholar 18-week program strengthens skills, reinforces understanding, and builds lasting academic confidence. It’s ideal for students who thrive with guided, hands-on instruction and consistent weekly support.
